9th International Verification Methods Workshop

The WMO WWRP/WCRP Joint Working Group on Forecast Verification Research (JWGFVR) is planning the 9th International Verification Methods Workshop (IVMW) and Verification Tutorials, to be held in May 2024 in Cape Town, South Africa.

The IVMW is an event which encompass two parts:

• The tutorial will occur the week of the 15^th – 18^th May, 2024 and will consist of theoretical lectures and practical assignments.
• The scientific workshop will the following week of the 20^th – 22^rd May and include keynote talks, along with contributed oral and poster presentations.

The event is planned for in-person participation only (no online component will be offered).
